FREE WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23RD!

One of the most pervasive limiting beliefs I’ve had is that “if everything isn’t perfect, I can’t be happy.“
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Those words weren’t in my mind consciously, but they informed every decision I made.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I chose neuroscience as my college major because I was somewhat interested in it, but it also definitely impressed everyone else.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
(Until I was miserable in all my classes.)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I spent so much time at my corporate job going above and beyond, answering emails after work, and taking on extra projects so that I could be the perfect coworker and employee.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
(Until I got burned out and mentally checked out.)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was so concerned about my friends seeing me as perfect, or at least as put-together, that I didn’t take advantage of opportunities to be more vulnerable and really share my struggles with them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
(Until I felt completely lost and alone.)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The tricky thing about limiting beliefs is that we don’t consciously think them, but they still inform how we act and present ourselves IRL.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That’s why I got inspired to create a workshop around limiting beliefs that I’m hosting for free over Zoom THIS Wednesday!
